Welcome to the Ferme de Bourran Hotel

We immediately fell in love with this house, which is perched on a hill near the town, yet sheltered from it.

We were entranced by its rural character, its lake, its verdant setting and its isolation from the town.

Uninhabited as it had been for many years, and overgrown with ivy and weeds, it was just waiting to be awakened from its slumbers.

In order to inject new life into the site and above all endow the building with its present facilities, we had to embark on a major operation to clear the vegetation.

To soften the pure, rectilinear style of this classical building, we chose to give it a pinkish colour reminiscent of the pink sandstone found in the architecture of Rodez.

As for its interior, we have retained its original volumes and given priority to a sense of space and calm. There are only seven guest rooms, which are at once sober, functional and warm, and designed to enable you to work or relax.

Thanks to its many windows, the interior is bathed in natural light.

The colour scheme is predominantly subdued: white, grey and ivory.

Touches of colour are provided here and there by curtains and armchairs (grey-green, citrine, plum, violet, grape).

The engravings on its walls represent an interpretation of the wild life and flora that are so dear to us.
